Pretty sure that forum was made to appease the Hetalia fan wave that stormed the forums. In other words, they made it to keep us out of their regular ones.

Yah and tbh I have been on the forum and looked at what everyone is writing. It’s awful just weeaboos everywhere and they invade the other forums that don’t even relate to Hetalia. It really makes me sad to see this and I can see why people hate out fandom.

Yes, and I hate to spoil the fun for everybody but I feel like this should be addressed before more people go storm the forums again or feel a sense of obligation to assume all micronations would be thrilled to learn about how the fandom treats news like this.

To anyone reading this, please realize that our fun little series needs to stay out of official business. Government websites do not need a bunch of children (or otherwise) bombarded with something they have no idea about. Sealand may not be an official nation, but it’s still a governed entity that should be treated as such. The few citizens that live there don’t need us undermining their status by associating their land with a webcomic to everyone on the outside. They know about us now, but from what I’ve seen non-Hetalia supporters - people that supported the little micronation without the need of a funny little character - find the behavior offensive. As a result of voicing their opinions, some fans on those forums are insulting Sealand as a whole. This not only looks bad on the fandom, but the series as well and I would implore fans to stop. The reason that forum is there is to keep Hetalians out of the others. They’re not welcoming our existence- they’re trying to keep us separated FOR GOOD REASON. Go into it and read. I dare you.

While on that note, please consider every factor when buying a title. Being a Lady or Lord may be fun and sound cool, but certain titles require loyalty to Sealand. This means, should the micronation get attacked in war, you are obligated to join their army and defend it. It’s not a game.

If you truly want to support Sealand as a Hetalian, go about it rationally. Don’t shout “Pasta!” everywhere and don’t assume they know references. Explain to them what it is, the flaws, why you like it, etc. Make sure there is a clear understanding on both sides, and allow people the right to their opinions. We want them to accept us, not wish Himaruya had never created the Sealand character.
